While browsing for newly-opened restos within my vicinity, I’ve stumbled upon Gudo –  a pizza pasta resto that happens to be ringing bells for their steak and other food choices for very affordable prices!

After a very intense schoolyear in Med school, the boyf and I decided to celebrate our very own “thanksgiving day” as we are now going on to our 3rd year in Medicine next schoolyear! All glory to God! ♥ We decided to have lunch in Gudo. It’s located along Congressional Ave. Extension. We had no problems in locating it, all thanks to Google Maps. Hihi.

So we had 2 sets of their T-bone steak with mashed potato, and 3Cheese pizza all for Php520.00 The steak was very savory. For the price of Php 175 each, I must say it was a good buy! It can be cooked in any manner you want it to be cooked may it be medium rare, well done, etc…

The pizza has a thin crust, which I liked because I’m up for the crunch! I like pairing the pizza we ordered with their hot sauce. A lot of customers were coming in for dine-in and to-go orders. The place is quite small, so that may make it difficult to have available seats especially at night (We happened to be there around 4 in the afternoon and we were lucky to have seats the moment we got there). The place is covered, semi-open type so we had to shoo away some flies as we eat which was a bit uncomfortable. Nevertheless, we really liked the food.

We haven’t tried any of their pasta as well as their Peri-peri chicken, which in reviews are being recommended too. Maybe in our next visit, we shall try them out! 😉
