Everyday Makeup of a Clinical Clerk

Everyday Makeup of a Clinical Clerk

I’ll now be on my clinical clerkship this year! I have one month to prepare for this and one of the “preps” I’ve made sure of is my everyday makeup routine to keep a sane look despite the challenging, gonna-be action-packed, no-certainty-of-what-would-happen-next environment in the field.

Face. The moment I knew about Belo’s new product line of a 2-in-1 sunscreen and tint for an easy “no-makeup look” I hurriedly looked for it and bought one. I have reviewed it in a previous entry Belo Sun Expert Perfecting Shield Tinted Screen SPF 50+ and I was very pleased with its finish! It’s a subtle way of masking the stress away by looking more presentable than one would usually be in a stressful environment. It’s not heavy on the face and doesn’t clay up in a messy way. It just got a hint of tint, great to be used routinely. For additional concealer at the undereye, I use Maybelline Mineral Liquid concealer in Shade 01 since I get to have really obvious eyebags especially when sleep-deprived. Cheeks. I was never a fan of tint sticks until I knew about Avon Simply Pretty Shimmer Blush Stick in Peachy Glow. At first, I thought it wasn’t working well for me, but eventually I got the hang of applying this on my cheeks for easy blush effect! I’m usually paler without tint onto cheeks, and I find the powder-based blush-ons to be just over the top; I feel a bit awkward having too much blush that is powder-based, so when I found out that this cheek tint stick was working well enough for atleast a half day use, it became my number one go-to cheektint! All I have to do is directly apply it on my cheeks and use the lateral side of my clenched fist to rub it a bit and spread it evenly on my cheeks. No stressful left-over tint onto fingers anymore (like what usually happens with my previous use of liquid tints) and I don’t have to be bothered by using a brush to apply powder-based blush-ons, too! Having this cheek tint on the stick is really handy for me.

Lips. MY go-to lip balm always saves the day!! I have a much paler pink-colored lips. To bring about a much healthier color, I use The Balm cosmetics: Lip Gloss in Bam!  Click the link for my first impression about it.

So, that’s about it! All we gotta remember is that 3-Step-Rule to stay Fab, Classy, and Lustrous-looking — Do something about the Face, Cheeks, and Lips! ♥
